Footstool For Reading

I am reading a book with my feet in Petes face, as it should be. But i am wearing my booties with acute high-heeled slippers that i put direct in Petes face. Does it bother me, that my high-heeled shoes are hurting his face? Of course not, i am enjoying my book.
